What We Collect

To perform notarizations we must record your name, signature, ID details, and the nature of the notarial act in our official journal, as state law requires. Our contact form additionally collects your name, email, phone number, and the details you share about your documents.

How We Use It

Journal records are used solely to satisfy legal record-keeping duties and to verify past acts when courts or agencies request confirmation. Contact details are used only to respond to your enquiry and schedule your signing.

How We Protect It

Physical journals are stored under lock; digital records are encrypted in transit and at rest with access limited to commissioned staff. Remote session recordings are retained under strict access controls and shared only when the law compels it.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or ask how long specific records must legally be retained. Write to hello@quillpointnotary.com and we will respond within 30 days.
